Installer accreditation
Solar Accreditation Australia operates the installer accreditation scheme. Ask who will carry out the installation, then check that person’s current status and relevant accreditation scope.
Retailer approval
NETCC approval relates to a retailer’s consumer-code commitments. It does not replace individual installer accreditation or a relevant electrical licence.
Electrical licensing
Check the appropriate state or territory register for the work being proposed. A profile on Solar City Guide does not substitute for any of these independent checks.
